Bill O'Brien founded Brandywine Growth Advisors to give growing alternative investment firms what most of them are missing: a senior capital formation leader who has built the engine before.

Bill began his career with 18 years in sales, marketing, and business development in the chemical industry, where he learned how disciplined, process-driven selling works. He then spent more than two decades in wealth management and investor relations at Merrill Lynch, Raymond James, and SEI Private Wealth Management, where he served as a regional director managing ultra-high-net-worth client relationships.

Most recently, as Chief Client Officer of an alternative investment firm, Bill helped grow investor capital from roughly $100 million to $600 million over four years. He built the firm's investor acquisition infrastructure from the ground up: the CRM, the lead qualification pipeline, and the client team that ran it.

Bill also serves as Executive Director of BLOCS (Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools) and is a speaker and regular presence at MoneyShow investor events. He lives in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, in the heart of the Brandywine Valley that gives the firm its name.
